Job summary

Trex Company, the world’s number one decking and railing brand, offers a summer Controls Engineering Internship in Winchester, VA. As an engineering intern you will work in an industrial environment and collaborate with Trex engineers and production personnel.

You will assist with PLC, SCADA and Historian tasks, data acquisition and reporting, and support engineers with routine activities while gaining hands-on experience in a leading outdoor living products company.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited degree program in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering, or a related field.
• Rising Junior or Senior with strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship and on-site availability in Winchester, VA.

Responsibilities

• Complete PLC, SCADA and Historian work with plant control systems, data acquisition, analysis and reporting.
• Assist engineers with routine tasks in an industrial environment.
• Collaborate with Trex engineers and production operations personnel.
