Job summary

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) invites applications for a Marketing Statement internship designed for college and graduate students. This preparatory, hands-on program exposes interns to diverse departments such as Operations, IT, City Planning and Business functions, over a 13-week summer period.

Interns will rotate to departments based on their major, under supervision by an Executive or designee, and will participate in data analysis, reporting, and presentations,

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent. Attending college/university.
• Must have completed freshman year and be entering sophomore year.
• Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8.

Responsibilities

• Compile, review, and analyze data for reports.
• Assist in preparing management, operations, and admin reports.
• Create presentations and data visuals for assigned department.
• Attend training sessions and departmental meetings to gain exposure to transit functions.
• Support safety policies and procedures awareness.
