EquipmentShare invites you to join the Uptime Management Center as an intern for Summer 2026 in Columbia, MO. You will work with data analytics and operations to monitor equipment performance and uptime.

This internship offers hands-on experience with dashboards, data cleaning, and predictive analytics while developing skills in Python/R, SQL, and Excel. You will need strong problem solving and communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, IS, or CS.
• Basic knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
• Experience with Python or R (coursework or projects).
• Exposure to operations, manufacturing, fleet management, or equipment-heavy industry a plus.
• Interest in predictive analytics or reliability engineering.
• SQL or willingness to learn
• Data visualization tools (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring telematics and equipment performance data.
• Support analysis of uptime and downtime trends.
• Help maintain dashboards and recurring reports for leadership and operations teams.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality checks.
• Assist with identifying anomalies or patterns that may indicate maintenance needs.
• Support predictive and preventive maintenance analytics initiatives.
