Job summary

EquipmentShare is hiring an Summer Intern: People Analytics and Systems to support our Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO and remotely join the People Data, Compensation and HRIS team.

This internship lets you learn our business from the ground up through team and independent projects, working with Excel or Google Sheets and gaining exposure to R, Python and SQL.

You will be involved in planning, data projects, and collaborating with senior staff to understand how analytics drives people decisions.

Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Familiarity with R, Python, SQL is a plus.
• High attention to detail and problem solving.
• Interest in Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Support analysts in planning timelines, managing workflows, and handling correspondence.
• Learn data analytics tools and systems through hands-on involvement and shadowing senior team members.
• Engage with team members across levels to understand the strategic role of data analytics and systems in business decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

We offer a flexible internship that will allow you to learn our business from the ground up while working on a series of team and independent projects.

• Support analysts in planning timelines, managing workflows, and handling correspondence related to ongoing projects.
• Learn about various data analytics tools and systems through hands-on involvement in projects and shadowing senior team members.
• Engage with team members on multiple levels, from technical experts to senior leadership, gaining insights into the strategic role of data analytics and systems in business decisions.

What You're Working With:
