EquipmentShare is hiring an Intern for the Uptime Management Center in Columbia, MO for Summer 2026. This student internship offers hands-on experience monitoring telematics, uptime trends, dashboards, and analytics initiatives.

Pursuing a degree in related fields, you will work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, with opportunities to learn Python/R, SQL, Excel, and data visualization. Competitive salary and perks available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, IS, CS, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
• Experience with Python or R (coursework or projects).
• Interest in predictive analytics or reliability engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
• Self-motivated with eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring telematics and equipment performance data.
• Support analysis of uptime and downtime trends.
• Help maintain dashboards and recurring reports for leadership and operations teams.
• Perform data cleaning, validation, and quality checks.
• Assist with identifying anomalies or patterns that may indicate maintenance needs.
• Support predictive and preventive maintenance analytics initiatives.
