Job summary

Excellus BCBS is offering a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program designed for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns will attend development workshops, network with peers, and work on meaningful projects across diverse tracks such as Business Administration, IT, Analytics, Finance, Marketing, and more.

Interns receive mentorship from managers, engage in agile ceremonies with the mobile app development team, and contribute to real programs while developing skills for a corporate

Qualifications

• Majors/Degree Programs Include: Computing Sciences & Information Technology or similar programs.
• Preferred but not required: Programming/coding, web design, software development.
• High School diploma with proof of continuous college enrollment, enrolled full‑time in undergrad or grad degree.
• Must be in good academic standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Team collaboration and organizational skills.
• Self-motivation and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and professional desktop environments.

Responsibilities

• Join our mobile app development team and participate in agile ceremonies.
• Experience full software development lifecycle including production delivery in an Enterprise environment.
• Work with a mentor on key strategic projects.
• Complete assignments based on business needs and priorities.
• Deliver presentations at internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy.
