Job summary

Excellus BCBS offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program for undergraduates and graduates. Interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored by managers, and attend development workshops focused on core business concepts across tracks including Business Administration, IT, Analytics, and more.

Interns may work in technical or non-technical areas, up to 40 hours per week, with ongoing mentorship and opportunities to present final deliverables.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• High School diploma with continuous college enrollment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and verify audit data for the FEP IPA audit.
• Collect data, verify accuracy and compliance.
• Learn and participate in the Dental Claims audit.
• Support key strategic projects under a mentor.
• Prepare and deliver final internship deliverables at completion.
• Attend Ops Audit meetings and provide feedback.
