Waymo is seeking a software engineer intern to research and implement state-of-the-art generative models for autonomous vehicle planning. You will help develop ML-powered systems that enhance the Waymo Driver and accelerate scaling of the business.

You should be pursuing an MS or PhD in CS/ML/Robotics with hands-on experience in TensorFlow, JAX, or PyTorch and strong Python/C++ skills. The role will be hybrid onsite with competitive intern perks and housing/relocation considerations.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with modern deep learning libraries.
• Proficient programming skills in Python and C/C++.
