Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Functional Excellence Intern to support project management and integration across AP1000, AP300, eVinci and related products. • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or any engineering discipline.

• Familiarity with WNEXUS, WPRO, SAP, Ariba, or Primavera.

Responsibilities

• You will have standardization and implementation of project management responsibilities related to schedule, monthly project reviews, financial reporting, KPIs
• APx Delivery Stream Task Plan reviews and management
• You will work on to standardize and update processes, procedures and templates
• Support APx change management
• You will support Delivery Stream and Supplier Performance Engineers with supplier identification and evaluations, Request for Quote package creation, Purchase Order placements and customer support

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering / any engineering discipline

About the role:

As a Functional Excellence Intern, you will support project management and integration processes on multiple projects for opportunities related to AP1000, AP300, eVinci and other products within the APx Delivery Stream portfolio. You will work with APx Delivery Stream leadership, Delivery Stream and Supplier Performance engineers and project leadership.

You will report to the APX Functional Excellence Integration Manager and be located at our Cranberry, PA facility. This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027.
