Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is offering a paid full-time hybrid internship for the summer (May–August 2027) at our Cranberry facility. As a Delivery Stream Engineering intern, you will support quality and technical requirements for projects, evaluate suppliers, prepare communications, and assist in project reporting across energy systems products including AP1000, AP300, and eVinci.

You will report to the WBS 9 Electrical Equipment Manager and gain exposure to supplier onboarding, NDA/PIA

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.

Responsibilities

• Help with supplier sourcing, evaluations, and RFQ package preparation, including technical and quality requirements.
• Coordinate supplier proposal reviews, compliance assessments, and NDA/PIA documentation.
• Support supplier onboarding activities and manage supplier documentation submissions and routing workflows.
• Coordinate supplier meetings, track action items, and facilitate communication between suppliers and project teams.
• Organize supplier kick-off meetings and recurring project reviews, including agendas, meeting materials, and follow-up actions.
• Support project execution through schedule updates, status reporting, metrics tracking, document management, and maintenance of internal project records.

About the role:

As a Delivery Stream Engineering intern, you will support quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries for Westinghouse - from bid phase and component design through PO Readiness/PO Placement. Help evaluate our suppliers as requested by the Delivery Stream Manager and Delivery Stream Team. This includes preparing customer communications, supporting management of multiple projects, and reporting for opportunities related to AP1000, AP300, eVinci, and other products within the Energy Systems Portfolio.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
