Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking Intern Engineers for Summer 2027 in Arlington, VA, Baltimore, MD, and Washington, DC. The program covers Water Resources, Roadway, Structures, and related fields, with a focus on assisting engineering teams and preparing drawings and documents.

Applicants should be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary engineering program and must have a high school diploma or GED. MicroStation/AutoCAD knowledge and basic math skills are preferred, and relocation housing is not

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Completion of 2 years of post-secondary civil engineering program.
• Knowledge of MicroStation and AutoCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assists Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assists Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
