Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Cranberry Township, PA, is seeking an Engineering intern to support the APX Supply Chain organization in delivering AP1000 nuclear plant equipment and components. This paid, full-time onsite summer internship runs May–August 2027, reporting to the Delivery Stream Manager at our Cranberry facility.

• Completed Sophomore year of college.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and supply chain teams in the planning, execution, and monitoring of project activities.
• Help with data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking related to suppliers, projects, schedules, and operational metrics.
• Help analyze technical, quality, operational, or performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, reports, presentations, and process records.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Supplier Quality, Supplier Performance, Logistics, and Project Management teams.
• Help with issue identification, root cause analysis, corrective action tracking, and continuous improvement projects.
• Learn and apply applicable nuclear quality, safety, compliance, and business process requirements.

About The Role

As an Engineering intern, you will support the APX Supply Chain organization in the execution and delivery of AP1000 nuclear plant equipment and components.
You will report to the Delivery Stream Manager and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027
