Job summary

Satair USA, Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking a Summer Intern - Customs Operations to join our Finance team. You will collaborate with the Warehouse Operations team to ensure smooth customs procedures and gain hands-on experience supporting initiatives that improve efficiency and accuracy.

This 12-week program provides mentorship, exposure to regulatory filings, documentation review, and cross-functional collaboration, with daily use of MS Excel and Google Suite in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED and pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited college or university.
• Ability to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Proficient with MS Excel and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison between Warehouse Operations and Customs Compliance teams.
• Assist in reviewing and organizing essential customs documentation (import/export declarations, invoices, packing lists).
• Document, update, and standardize customs procedures to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
• Facilitate rapid resolution of day-to-day customs questions and issues.
• Support auditing of transaction data to ensure accuracy before submission.
