Job summary

SOCOTEC US is offering a Summer Internship in our Advisory Group in Dallas. You’ll work on active projects alongside Associates and Managers, gaining hands-on experience and responsibilities comparable to entry-level roles.

The internship emphasizes learning through mentorship, exposure to construction and business damages analysis, and practical financial review within office-based work with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret financial records, contracts, and project schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Calculate monetary damages and assist with claims preparation.
• Analyze construction schedules to identify delays, determine causes, and evaluate responsibility.
• Review financial records, contracts, statements, and other accounting documentation.
• Assist with calculations related to lost profits and changes in property value.
• Support the analysis of construction project costs, schedules, and financial impacts.
• Conduct research and analysis to support client projects.
• Collaborate with Associates and Managers across various projects and cases.
