Job summary

State of South Dakota is seeking an Intern - Workforce Development and Promotions Intern in Sioux Falls, SD. The role focuses on coordinating training and clinical service activities within the Behavioral Health unit and includes data entry duties.

Successful applicants will gain public service experience and learn about mental health, peer supports, prevention, crisis services, and substance use initiatives. Strong Excel and Access skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be enrolled as a part-time or full-time student at a college, university, or technical institute at the time they apply.
• By the start of the internship, the student should have completed one year (nine months) of their chosen program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training scheduling and registration; manage information materials inventory; enter data to monitor training effectiveness.
• Assist with clinical services data entry and analysis; perform other duties as assigned.
