Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in Cranberry Township is seeking an Application Development intern to support the development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise applications.

You will work with the Cranberry-based team and collaborating with other team members in Poland and Spain. You will gain exposure to Agile delivery and SDLC best practices, including object-oriented development and HTTP-based APIs, while building foundational skills across the application and data layers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.
• Write HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with Object-oriented Programming.

Responsibilities

About The Role

As an Application Development intern, you will support the development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise applications used across Westinghouse. You will work with the Cranberry-based team and collaborating with other team members in Poland and Spain. You will report to the Application Development Supervisor and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer, May - August 2027.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
