Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company invites applications for an Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Controls Intern in Cranberry Township, PA. The paid, full-time summer position (May–August 2027) offers hybrid or onsite work, reporting to the department manager and involvement in design, testing, and implementation of electrical and control systems for nuclear facilities and products.

You will support system architecture drawings, hardware design, troubleshooting, documentation, and testing

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.
• Interest in control systems, instrumentation, or power systems.
• Familiarity with electrical design concepts and drawings.

About The Role

As an Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation & Controls Intern, you will support the design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical and control systems supporting nuclear facilities and products.

You will report to the department manager and be located at our Cranberry, Warrendale, Blairsville, or New Stanton, PA facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid or onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027.
