Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb invites PhD candidates to join the CPD analytical team in New Brunswick, NJ for a summer internship. You will design and optimize analytical methods (LC and NMR), collaborate across teams, and gain industry experience with mentorship from senior scientists.

The role targets development of analytical capabilities for small-molecule processes used in clinical trials and new medicine launches. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US and be on track to graduate by 2028.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university PhD program in a related field.
• Expected graduation between Fall 2027 and 2028.
• Authorized to work in the US for the duration of employment.
• Hands-on experience with LC (HPLC/UPLC) is required.
• Experience with NMR techniques, especially small-molecule data, is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, instrument troubleshooting, and teamwork.
• Include GPA on resume (≥3.0).

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments to evaluate LC and NMR performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on small-molecule reactions and impurities.
• Analyze chromatographic and spectroscopic data to generate chemical insights.
