Job summary

AbbVie seeks a summer intern in analytical chemistry to develop methods for late-stage and commercial assets. You will work with HPLC, NIR/Raman, MS, and peptide mapping, handling method development, instrument setup, sample prep, data collection, and optimization in a modern lab.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a BS in chemistry, has hands-on wet-lab experience, and strong communication skills. Relocation support and competitive pay are available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a BS in chemistry or related field.
• Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship.

Responsibilities

• Developing novel analytical methods and evaluating method accuracy, precision sensitivity, robustness, etc.
• Interpreting mass spectral data and building chemometrics calibration models
• Supporting development of platform methods for peptide mapping and MS/MS based quantitative analysis of biologics
