Job summary

Frankfurt Short Bruza (FSB), an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, offers a hands-on Summer Internship for Interior Design students who want to turn creative ideas into spaces people experience.

As an intern, you'll work alongside experienced interior designers and other design professionals while gaining experience in space planning, materials and finishes, furniture, design development, visualization, and construction documentation.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in interior design or a related accredited program.
• Able to work on site in Oklahoma City for the duration of the summer internship, approximately 40 hours per week.
• Basic familiarity with Revit and interior design, rendering, or visualization software preferred.
• Strong communication, creativity, organization, problem solving, and collaboration skills.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to ask questions, contribute ideas, take on new challenges, and learn from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with interior design, space planning, modeling, visualization, and documentation using Revit and other design tools.
• Support finish, furniture, fixture, material, color, and product selections.
• Assist with development of floor plans, elevations, details, finish plans, schedules, renderings, and presentation materials.
• Contribute to programming, material research, product specifications, and design development.
• Learn how building codes, accessibility requirements, life safety considerations, and design standards influence interior environments.
• Gain exposure to FF&E and the interior design process from concept and documentation through installation.
• Work alongside experienced interior designers, architects, and other design professionals on active projects.
