Job summary

WD is hosting a Summer 2027 HR Intern program in San Jose, CA. You’ll join a cohort of students, partner with experienced HR professionals, and tackle meaningful HR projects across Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, and Benefits.

Throughout the program you’ll gain hands-on HR experience, learn modern HR tools, and present your capstone project to WD leadership, shaping your early career in human resources.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• Strong interest in HR career.
• Ability to analyze information, interpret data, and draw insights.
• Clear communicator who collaborates across teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn HR systems.
• Right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Available to work 40 hours/week for 12 weeks in Summer 2027.
• Location: San Jose, California.
• Exposure to HR systems or analytics tools (e.g., Workday, SmartRecruiters, Tableau, Power BI)
• Prior experience related to HR, people analytics, organizational development, or project management

Responsibilities

• Own a real HR project within WD’s HR teams.
• Participate in a structured learning curriculum and hands-on HR analytics.
• Present capstone project to WD leadership.
