URBN's Anthropologie division is seeking an Apparel Buying Intern for the Summer program in Philadelphia, PA. The role supports daily buying operations and cross-functional collaboration with market and internal teams.

The program runs 6/7–8/13 at URBN’s Home Office in Philadelphia; open to rising seniors. Applicants will complete a Trend Concept Board and may interview for full-time roles. A strong emphasis on creativity and retail math is expected.

Qualifications

• Must exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented; capable of working in a fast-paced environment with urgency.
• Understanding of customer wants and needs to identify trends and products.
• Ability to prioritize projects and handle multiple tasks.
• Must demonstrate creative thinking.
• Rudimentary understanding of retail math.

Responsibilities

• Open packages and distribute to the Buyer for review.
• Organize sample areas (designated area, desk, shelves).
• Manage and set up samples for style-outs and meetings.
• Call in missing samples for style-outs and meetings.
• Work with Buyer/Associate Buyer to request appropriate number of samples for web turnover, press previews, and meetings.
