Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts is seeking an Intern/Apprentice to support the Development team at the Wolf Trap HeadQuarters in Vienna, VA. This onsite role offers hands-on experience in sponsorship activations, donor relations, and event coordination.

The position requires strong writing, communication, and customer service skills, plus solid computer abilities (Word/Excel); Raiser's Edge exposure is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Strong computer skills with MS Word and Excel; Raiser's Edge experience is helpful but not required.
• Outstanding writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Efficient organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Exceptional customer service, creativity, and initiative.
• Some night and evening hours are required for this position.

Aufgaben

• Assist in the planning and execution of onsite summer sponsorship activations (some nights and weekends required; occasional carrying/lifting of up to 25 lbs. with assistance)
• Interact with partners and assist with questions regarding benefits, delivering top-notch customer service
• Experience corporate and foundation partner cultivation through attendance at events and partner meetings
• Maintain up-to-date gift and contact records in donor database
• Assist with execution of cultivation and stewardship events
• Support prospect research and pipeline development
