Job description

The Summer Food & Beverage Busser position helps create an excellent experience for guests by maintaining a clean and safe environment in the Bogus Basin lodge areas during the summer operational season.

Essential Functions of the Job

• Clean tables, floors, surrounding areas, and restrooms.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized dining area for our guests.
• Maintain proper stock levels of cups, condiments, napkins, and plastic wares.
• Maintain a professional attitude toward guests and staff.
• Promote safety by following safe practices and reporting any unsafe conditions or situations.
• Assist guests with any questions or problems that they may have; if unable to provide assistance, seek help from a supervisor and / or manager.

Non-Essential Functions of the Job

• Perform other related tasks, as necessary.

Requirements

• Passionate about the Bogus Basin mission.
• Ability to perform tasks in a timely and accurate manner, with or without supervision.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Employee is frequently required to stand, balance, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
• Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• The employee must occasionally lift, move, and / or support up to 35 lbs.
• Manual dexterity to perform basic foodservice functions such as stocking and cleaning.
• Ability to work mid-May through mid-October.

Working Conditions

• Restaurant environment, both indoors and outdoors.
• May be exposed to inclement weather.
