Job summary
Piper Sandler & Co. invites motivated undergraduates to join the 2027 Summer Internship Program in Fixed Income Services in Chicago, IL.
The 10-week program exposes interns to Municipal Underwriting, Credit Trading, Strategy & Analytics, Treasury Trading, and more, with senior speaker series and final project participation. Interns will support various fixed income desks, participate in capstone projects, and gain hands-on experience across the fixed income lifecycle while developing
Qualifications
- GPA 3.0 or above required.
- Rising juniors or seniors eligible.
- Interest in finance required; major not required.
- SIE exam preparation encouraged.
- Strong written and verbal skills required.
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau.
- Detail oriented with leadership and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop understanding of client verticals and fixed income products.
- Support fixed income team with assigned projects.
- Assist back-office and support groups.
- Support sales team in product adoption by Buyside.
- Assist trading and underwriting teams in new issues and secondary markets.
- Contribute to weekly market commentary publications.
