Job summary

The American Bankers Association in Washington, DC is seeking an engaged undergraduate student for a summer internship. You will work on financial analysis, audit support for BankPac, and budget reviews, gaining exposure to Workday Adaptive, Domo, and 990 preparation.

This paid, full-time internship runs June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027, with a 37.5-hour work week and onsite work required at least two days per week. Ideal for rising juniors/seniors pursuing Accounting or Finance.

Qualifications

• Must be a rising junior or senior at an accredited college or university with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Accounting or Finance major preferred.
• Strong analytical and numeric skills are required.
• Able to work onsite in Washington, DC two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BankPac audit supporting schedules and assist with gathering audit responses.
• Assist with ABACEF budget review and analysis.
• Assess how Workday Adaptive's predictive forecasting could be used for ABA.
• Evaluate potential integration of Domo operational data with Workday financial data to enhance dashboards & financial reporting.
• Support preparation and review of 990's for ABA and subsidiaries.
