Job summary

Grain Millers is seeking a Summer Field Representative intern to gain hands-on experience in crop scouting, farm management, and agribusiness. The role offers travel across the Midwest, interaction with producers, and mentorship from industry experts in agriculture and crop science.

The internship targets students pursuing Agriculture, Agronomy, or related fields, with a chance to develop practical skills, participate in farm visits, and contribute to regenerative farming initiatives while

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Ag Technology, AG Business, or related fields.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while being a team player.
• Willingness to travel across multiple states and Canada (passport required).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Scout and monitor oat and corn crops, providing essential reports to our procurement team.
• Collaborate with our Crop Sciences Team to ensure sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices.
• Travel to farms, collect crop samples, and evaluate crop conditions.
• Build strong relationships with producers, traders, and external partners.
• Represent Grain Millers at trade shows, field days, and agronomic events.

Travel Area: Minnesota, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin

What You'll Do
