Job summary

Grain Millers, Inc. in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Summer Field Representative intern to gain hands-on experience in crop scouting and farm management.

You will travel across the Midwest, collect crop data, and report to procurement while collaborating with our Crop Sciences Team to improve sustainable practices. This paid internship offers broad exposure to agronomy, field days, and potential trade show participation, with weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Ag Technology, AG Business, or related fields.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while being a team player.
• Willingness to travel across multiple states and Canada (passport required).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Scout and monitor oat and corn crops, providing essential reports to our procurement team.
• Collaborate with our Crop Sciences Team to ensure sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices.
• Travel to farms, collect crop samples, and evaluate crop conditions.
• Build strong relationships with producers, traders, and external partners.
• Represent Grain Millers at trade shows, field days, and agronomic events.
