Job summary

Butterball, LLC is conducting a 10-12 week Feed Mill Intern program at its Goldsboro, North Carolina facility. You will learn feed manufacturing, equipment operation, and the role of safety and maintenance in a busy production environment.

As a student pursuing a degree in Agriculture or a related field, you will collaborate with mill leaders to support production, process improvement, and data-driven decisions while gaining hands-on exposure and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agribusiness, Agronomy, or related field with expected graduation Dec 2028–June 2029.
• Willingness to work in a feed mill environment, including exposure to dust, varying temperatures, noise, and heights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong teamwork and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Learn day-to-day operations of a feed mill and feed manufacturing.
• Partner with mill leaders and team to support production, maintenance, and safety initiatives.
• Assist with projects focused on process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Analyze operational data and present findings to leadership.
