Job summary

DBI Construction Consultants LLC is offering a 10-week Summer internship for aspiring Junior Estimators across multiple US locations, including Atlanta. You will work with seasoned estimators and project managers to learn how damage assessment projects are measured, documented, and presented, visiting site locations to collect data and compile cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the AEC field (civil engineering or construction management).
• Interest in construction consulting, estimating, and project management.
• Willingness to travel locally and work in office and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site visits to collect measurements, photos, and project details.
• Support the analysis of labor, materials, and timelines for project estimates.
• Help track costs and flag differences between projected and actual figures.
• Learn to prepare professional reports and data entries in estimating tools.
• Gain exposure to Xactimate and Bluebeam Revu.
