Job summary

DBI Consultants are construction experts who specialize in evaluating damaged structures. This is a 10-week Summer internship program for Junior Estimators in the US, including in Denver, with hands-on cost estimating experience and field visits.

You will learn to prepare estimates, work with seasoned professionals, and gain real-world data collection experience supporting a capstone presentation and potential future employment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the AEC field such as civil engineering or construction management.
• Strong career interest in construction consulting, estimating, and project management.
• Willingness to travel and work in office and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site visits to collect measurements, photos, and project details.
• Support the analysis of labor, materials, and timelines for project estimates.
• Help track costs and flag differences between projected and actual figures.
• Learn to prepare professional reports and data entries in estimating tools.
• Gain exposure to industry software like Xactimate and Bluebeam Revu.
