Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the AEC field (civil engineering or construction management).
• Strong interest in construction consulting, estimating, and project management.
• Willingness to travel locally and work in or atop damaged buildings.
• Comfortable working full time in office and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site visits to collect measurements, photos, and project details.
• Support the analysis of labor, materials, and timelines for project estimates.
• Help track costs and flag differences between projected and actual figures.
• Learn to prepare professional reports and data entries in estimating tools.
• Gain exposure to industry software like Xactimate and Bluebeam Revu.
