Job summary

Selective Insurance invites college students to join the Ignite Internship program at our Short Hills, NJ corporate office. This 11-week, full-time experience provides a hands-on look into the insurance business within the Enterprise Risk Management and Reinsurance team.

During the internship you’ll work on on‑the‑job assignments, team projects, and engagement with senior leadership & executives, building relationships and skills for a career in insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be a current college student
• Interest in learning about the insurance industry
• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Support ERM and Ignite teams in project work
• Assist with data collection and reporting tasks
• Participate in risk-related analyses and learning activities
• Assist with coordinating internship activities and events
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
• Contribute to team projects and deliverables
