Qualifications

• Currently enrolled full time in an accredited related undergraduate program or graduating in spring.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during summer.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm solutions to challenging technical problems as part of a team.
• Participate in tours, activities, and staff briefings.
• Apply data analytics techniques for feature extraction.
• Conduct analyses of safety and security assessments.
• Develop computer models of components and structures.
• Conduct full scale crash simulations.
• Support assembly and testing of components and systems.
• Analyze data and verify requirements.
• Develop conceptual prototypes for demonstration and testing.
