Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque invites outstanding undergraduates to join the iSAFE Institute as interns focused on security, arms control, and force protection engineering. You will contribute to data analysis, software development, and experimental work for national security missions.

Interns collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, learn hands-on skills, and support first-of-a-kind software solutions while gaining exposure to national security projects and Sandia's

Qualifications

• Earned bachelor's degree and enrolled in a full-time graduate/post-baccalaureate program.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0; eligible if spring term ongoing or graduate in spring.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during summer.
• U.S. citizens or eligible status (permanent residents, asylees, refugees).

Responsibilities

• Work with your team in designing, developing, implementing, testing, and delivering advanced data processing and exploitation software.
• Work with your team in designing, developing, and conducting tests and experiments related to national security missions.
• Contribute to data analysis and review in support of national security mission projects.
• Collaborate with Sandia interns on shared projects.
