Job summary

MetalTek International’s Wisconsin Centrifugal Division in Waukesha is seeking an Engineering Intern for summer project work. You will assist with process preparation, defect investigation, data retention, and drafting purchase requisitions.

Ideal candidates are Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering students in Junior standing or higher, seeking hands-on experience in a large centrifugal foundry and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering student.
• Junior Standing or higher.

Responsibilities

• Preparation for critical processes throughout the plant (defect investigation and analysis).
• Targeted shrink factor and sizing study.
• Electronic file retention.
• Draft purchase requisitions.
• Machine facility data base.
• Quality review and creation of work instructions/procedures.
