Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or a GED.

• Preferred: understanding of design plans/blueprints and ability to perform technical computations.
• Preferred: math education to trig level.
• Preferred: knowledge of materials testing and lab equipment.
• Preferred: ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate designs, measurements, computations, and documentation.
• Keeps the Resident Engineer/Technician informed of any problems encountered or deviations.
• Ensures that work performed is in accordance with the specifications.
• Performs all duties in compliance with departmental safety rules.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
