Job summary

ONE Gas is seeking motivated students for the Summer 2027 Engineering Internships in Oklahoma City or Tulsa. You will join the Engineering team to support design, operation, and maintenance of pipeline and storage systems and collaborate across departments on meaningful projects.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Mechanical or Civil Engineering degrees with a GPA of 3.0+, enrolled at OU or OSU, and demonstrated leadership or prior internship experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Enrolled at the University of Oklahoma or Oklahoma State University.
• Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Involved in extracurricular activities, community service, or leadership roles.
• Experience through prior internships, part-time jobs, or volunteer work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, assist, and/or perform engineering activities related to design, operation, and maintenance of pipeline and storage systems.
• Assist in project coordination among regions and departments including Customer Development, Operating, and Customer Services; including bid proposals and contracts, line extensions, and construction/relocation projects.
• Provide technical and/or engineering support to management, employees, regulatory personnel, contractors, customers, and others on topics such as meter settings, emergency valve isolation plans, policies and procedures.
• Review and summarize information such as engineering studies and status/activity reports.
