Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. invites applications for a limited-term, full-time summer Electrical Engineering intern based in Madison, Wisconsin. The internship runs from May/June 2027 through August/September 2027 and supports the Architecture & Building Engineering (ABE) Group.

Responsibilities include assisting engineers, performing design calculations, and preparing project reports. Ideal candidates will have completed at least two college semesters in electrical or architectural engineering and may

Qualifications

• Completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in electrical or architectural engineering.
• Familiarity with electrical building design coursework is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers and design technicians with electrical engineering projects.
• Perform design calculations, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Assist in preparing project reports and documentation.
• May perform field inspections as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the team.
