Job summary

Mead & Hunt in Madison, WI is seeking a limited-term, full-time Electrical Engineering intern for May/June 2027 through August/September 2027 with our Architecture & Building Engineering (A&BE) Group. The internship focuses on electrical building design for airport, government, and private clients.

Successful candidates will assist engineers with design calculations, reports, and field inspections; two semesters of college coursework in electrical or architectural engineering are required;

Qualifications

• Completed two semesters of college-level coursework in electrical or architectural engineering.
• Experience with Revit, AGI-32, Easypower, and/or SKM PTW software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assisting engineers and design technicians with electrical engineering projects.
• Performing design calculations, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Assisting with preparing project reports.
• May also perform field inspections on occasion.
• Other tasks as assigned.
