Qualifications

Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelor's degree, or first-year Master's student with at least one semester remaining before graduation.
Pursuing a degree in: Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Related engineering discipline.
Demonstrated interest in the applicable field and the energy industry.
Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and communicate findings effectively.
Preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.

Responsibilities

Within electrical engineering internship, interns support initiatives that help plan, design, operate, maintain, and modernize Avangrid's electric system.
Assignments may involve electric transmission and distribution infrastructure, substations, protection and control systems, system planning, reliability initiatives, or grid modernization programs.
