Job summary

PING is seeking students to join its Environmental Health & Safety team for a summer internship supporting safety, environmental compliance, sustainability, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.

You will gain hands-on experience on meaningful projects and collaborate with professionals across multiple departments, all while applying classroom knowledge in a dynamic manufacturing environment in Phoenix.

Responsibilities

• Review and update safety program documentation.
• Assist with Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and inspections.
• Support hazard identification, corrective action tracking, and safety improvement initiatives.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments to reduce injury risk.
• Participate in industrial hygiene sampling (noise and air quality).
• Collect, analyze, and report EHS data and performance metrics.
• Support recycling, waste reduction, and sustainability initiatives.
• Assist with environmental reporting and compliance activities.
• Develop safety training materials and communications.
• Evaluate opportunities to improve EHS processes through technology, automation, and data management.
