Job summary

NERA Economic Consulting is hiring Summer Interns for our New York office and other locations. The internship runs from early June to mid-August, with a minimum 40-hour work week, and provides exposure to quantitative modeling, econometric analysis, and data-driven policy research.

Qualified candidates hold a BA/BS or Masters with graduation by Summer 2028, demonstrate exceptional analytical and communication skills, and can work well on teams.

Qualifications

• BA or BS or Masters in a relevant field with Summer 2028 graduation.
• Demonstrate exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and teamwork.
• Desirable coursework in finance, economics, accounting, econometrics, or programming.

Responsibilities

• Design and build quantitative models and apply econometric analysis to data.
• Perform valuation analyses and review industry trends.
• Create exhibits and presentation materials; write code for data analysis.
• Participate in client meetings and draft memos and expert reports.
