Job summary

NERA is hiring Researcher-level economists for offices in New York City and other major U.S. locations. The role focuses on designing quantitative models, performing econometric analyses, and preparing expert reports for leading law firms and corporations.

Candidates should hold a BA/BS (or MA) in economics, finance, or related fields, with strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work well in teams. The base salary is competitive and a broad rewards package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or BS in economics, finance, or related fields; Masters by Summer 2027.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills; detail-oriented and strong communication.
• Ability to work well on teams; coursework and/or experience in finance, economics, accounting, econometrics, and programming.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building quantitative models and applying econometric analysis to data.
• Valuation analyses
• Reviewing, summarizing, and analyzing industry trends
• Creating trial exhibits and presentation materials
• Writing code for complex data analysis
