Job summary

NERA invites Summer Interns to join our Washington, DC offices. Interns will design and build quantitative models, apply econometric analysis to data, and contribute to valuation analyses and industry trend reviews.

Applicants should have a BA/BS or Masters and demonstrate exceptional analytical, communication, and teamwork skills; coursework in finance/economics/econometrics is desirable. The hourly rate is $40.00, with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or Masters degree; graduating by Summer 2028.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent communication.
• Strong teamwork abilities.
• Desirable coursework/experience in finance, economics, accounting, statistics/econometrics and programming.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building quantitative models and applying econometric analysis to economic and financial data.
• Valuation analyses.
• Reviewing, summarizing, and analyzing industry trends.
• Creating trial exhibits and presentation materials.
• Writing code for complex data analysis.
• Participating in client meetings.
• There is little to no travel involved.
