Job summary

American Century Investments invites students to a 10‑week summer Data Internship, with paths in Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI/ML. You will work with experienced mentors on real projects to learn cloud platforms, data pipelines, and analytics tools. You must be currently enrolled and graduating 2027/2028, and be authorized to work in the U.S.

on site. You will gain hands‑on experience, receive career coaching, and network with professionals while contributing to meaningful business

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, Data Science or related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Coursework or experience in Python, SQL, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science, Cloud (AWS or Azure), AI or ML.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team collaboration skills.
• Demonstrates curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and concepts.

Responsibilities

• Partner with data professionals on projects that influence business decisions.
• Explore technologies across Data Engineering, Analytics, Cloud, AI, and ML.
• Learn how data is collected, managed, transformed, and leveraged to create value.
• Gain exposure to modern cloud platforms, data pipelines, analytics tools, and AI‑driven solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify opportunities and deliver results.
• Present project findings and recommendations to leaders and stakeholders.
