Job summary

American Century Investments is offering a 10-week Enterprise Data Intern program in the Kansas City, MO or Southlake, TX offices. This onsite internship runs June 2 to August 6, 2026, with a 40-hour workweek (Mon-Fri). You will collaborate with data professionals on real projects spanning data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, and cloud computing.

You must be a rising senior in a relevant field, graduating December 2027–Spring 2028, and authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Coursework or internship experience in Python, SQL, Data Analytics, Cloud Computing, AI/ML.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with experienced data professionals on projects that influence business decisions.
• Explore technologies and platforms across Data Engineering, Analytics, Cloud Computing, AI, and ML.
• Learn how data is collected, managed, transformed, and leveraged to create value.
• Gain exposure to cloud platforms, data pipelines, analytics tools, and AI-driven solutions.
• Present project findings and recommendations to leaders and stakeholders.
