Job summary

Dune Deck Beach Club, part of Discovery Land Company, seeks a Culinary Extern to join the Food & Beverage - Culinary Department for the Summer Semester. You will understand the menu, assist with prep, maintain cleanliness, and ensure compliance with safety standards while supporting a rotating shift across kitchen stations.

Enrollment in a culinary/hospitality program is required, with six months back-of-house experience and ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited Culinary or Hospitality program.
• Six months related back-of-house foodservice experience.
• ServSafe certification and knowledge of safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all dishes meet specifications and standard recipes.
• Assist with chopping, meat preparation, sauces and station prep.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and proper storage of items.
• Adhere to government, health and safety standards at all times.
