Job summary

The University of Georgia is seeking an individual to assist with lab and field experiments. Responsibilities include preparing for experiments and maintaining cleanliness in lab areas and greenhouses. This is a full-time position available during the summer months, requiring punctuality for shifts starting at 7AM or occasionally 6AM for out of town travel.

Preferred candidates are high school graduates with knowledge of operating farm equipment. A positive attitude and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions are also important.

Qualifications

• High school graduate is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating farm equipment is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in South Georgia heat and humidity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in lab experiments and prepare for upcoming experiments.
• Keep lab areas and greenhouses clean and organized.
• Assist with field experiments and help technician and graduate student.
