Job summary

The University of Georgia is seeking an individual to assist with lab and field experiments. Responsibilities include preparing for experiments and maintaining cleanliness in lab areas and greenhouses. This is a full-time position available during the summer months, requiring punctuality for shifts starting at 7AM or occasionally 6AM for out of town travel.

Preferred candidates are high school graduates with knowledge of operating farm equipment. A positive attitude and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions are also important.

Position Summary

Will also assist with field experiments, assist technician and graduate student where needed. Full time work available during the summer months. Shifts start at 7AM for work most days and occasionally 6AM for out of town travel to Plains and Griffin so punctuality is important.

Physical Demands

Walking, bending, stooping, and lifting lightweight materials, work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Driving as needed for job duties.
